Anyway, the new one has remote locking, and when I press the button on the remote, the turning lights blink on the left side of the car. But here's the thing, two times now when I lock it, the lights either don't stop blinking, or are left on, both on the outside of the car and in the dash. When this happens the only thing I can do is disconnect the battery and connect it again. Any ideas on what is going on? A bad relay somewhere?
Also, after this started happening, the car flips out if I try to use a key to open the doors, it's ok if I use the remote, but when I unlock it with the key, and open the door, the alarm goes off. Any ideas on that?
Its a 1.6 Lanos, 5 door hatchback, '99 model
