CD error 9

Post by duskglow »

Hi,

I burnt two CDs last night. One of them is a bunch of small songs, about 170 of them, and it worked just fine. The other one was a bunch of classical music - which obviously is much longer per song - and it errored out with "error 9". Any idea what that error means?

Thanks.

what kind of cd player?...I would consult the manufacturer's website and see what it says about error codes for your model

It's the stock 6-CD changer on a 2007 Chevy Aveo. Sorry I didn't specify that earlier.

In that case you're gonna have to look it up in the manual that came with the car. It should be under the audio section and there should be something to tell you why you got that error code in that section.
