Exhaust smell when blower is on

Post by SickDrift »

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows what the cause is. My 01 Leganza blows into the cabin an exhaust smell anytime I use the AC, Heat, or even outside air. For obvious reasons I would like to fix this. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions for this?

Thanks in advance!

Is your oil breather popped from your intake?

You know what? I dont know. Do you have a pic of what I should be looking at? Also, would the fact that I have a broken latch on my air fiter box possibly have something to do with it as well. I just didnt know what air was sourced from when you use these functions. I will fix the box anyway.

There is a black tube that comes out of the engine and snakes to the intake. On the stock intake it is much closer to the throttle. Make sure that tube is connected, or run it down behind the engine. you are sucking up blow-by gas into your AC intake and it stinks like exhaust or burning oil
