Keyless entry

K so i have a 2001 daewoo nubira. My keyless entry just stopped working for some reason. I have checked all the fuses and they are all fine. I've replaced the battery in the keyless remote and still doesnt work...any ideas. and also my dad has a solus pro with the obd2 things and i was wondering if i got a new keyless entry remote if i could use that to reprogram the remote. I saw online that i could but just want to make sure and how to do it. Thanks for the help
