Dont make this mistake!

Post by vjx987 »

While wiring up my car (audio), i was running my power cables and what not for my amp down the right side of the car, the mistake i made, which make sure you NEVER do, is run the RCA cables down the same side of the car, they must run down the other side. While the sound and all still came thru, due to the rca's being so close to the power cable, the rca's pick up the engines rev and you receive a very high pitch whine thru the speakers representin the engine revs. when you put your foot down, the whine gets louder n louder representing every rev..

now i need to re run those damn rca's. shit its a pain in the ass.

pick and payless has no leganzas. They had a nubuira and some cielos and stuff. Just order your stuff through holden, its easier but the parts interpreters are dumbasses

its not always to do with the RCAS near the power cable.

i run 0 guage, along with my rcas on the other side, and i still got interference, and i upgraded me earths. it could be a number of things, i cant remember the list, but if you do a search on

www.talkaudio.co.uk

it should tell ya.
