Painting the Interior Questions??

Hey guys,
i was really thinkin the other day bout taking the dash round the dials n the air con buttons n stuff out n painting them....but i have a few questions...

1. if i take the plastics out, will they rattle after a while after i have put them back on?
2. What kind of paint should i use and any other materials?
3. does the paint fade or chip off and will it do this in the future???
4. Is there anyway i can back maybe put like foam or sumfin behind the plastic so that it stops from future rattles after the painting...?
