center a/c vents

i noticed a while back about my centera/c vents being either broken or just disconnected from the little left right and up and down toggle so i was wondering how i would reconnect or take out the cent assembly in order to remedy this i already did a search and nothing came up about this so maybe someone could help me with this thank you
