$1000, too pricey?! no way... not for a full kit.

so far ive spent nearly $700 (roughly £400) on my homemade setup... and still need to spend more getting all the boost pipes. if that kit were around 2 or 3 months ago, i'd gladly have saved up and bought it at the first opportunity i had.

I didn't see the adaptor to attach the turbo to the manifold in the pics. All I see is the down pipe? Looks like it might be just a universal kit that someone put the daewoo lanos deal on the name of it.

i too dint notice the flange, i asked the guy and he said this:
hello, thanks for taking an interest in the kit. you need to make it all fit up. there is a flange for the turbo inlet. the flange can be welded direct to the existing manifold or you can make an adapter pipe.
so idk

not realy, the only part i cocked up on was using the wrong type of hose for an oil feed. as far as welding the turbo the manifold its alrite, no exhaust gas leaks or anything.

well... it is a universal kit rather than a lanos kit

1- their is no turbo mani so this setup can go on so many other cars... as long as you need an adapter the n it is not a "specific car"... specific kits need no "adaptation"
2- charge piping is universal not spacific to lanos
3- oil lines are not made for the lanos
4- no high flow injectors present

ok it is not a bad kit at all but it is not a "lanos kit"

we all do... that's why we take "universal" stuff and spend time, effort and money to customize it so it can fit the woo :)
