well, my nexia sounds like a freaking ferarri with the open air cleaner.

i love it.

washed her today, didnt really help.

by the way: are broken rear-windshield-wipers-motors a common thing?
mine stopped working a couple of weeks ago, so i dismounted everything, didnt see anything wrong except for a lot of rust. cleaned it, greased it and mounted it, and it worked.

well, it died again.

so i just removed the whole assembly

I really hope this forum doesn't die out.
It just seems so quiet at the moment. It's definitely the best forum I've ever been a part of. Everyone is helpful and nice and there are hardly any stupid threads or flaming (except when flaming is necessary :D ).

I remember when I joined in 2008, it was so active. Then I hardly contributed for a bit (very busy with uni) and got back into it (procrastination with uni  )

Now, not even MMamdouh is posting much :(

i'll finally do something worthwhile to my car, and no one will be left on here to feed my ego

how's woosaabi coming along Garrett? any updates?

i haven't touched my brakes yet, mostly because i'm being raped by assignments at the moment
i tried replacing the pads on the rear discs i have, but the piston is being uncooperative and not winding back

well, here in holland 'woos are not the most hot car.

definitely not.
and especially not if it comes down to tuning/styling.

dunno about the rest of the world.

i really love what some people here have done to their woo's, but here in holland probably 99% of them would not be road legal. especially with a lot of police and strict rules, it just doesn't combine well.

again, dunno bout the rest of the world.

there have been a couple updates but I'll wait a little longer to post about them.

...I'll be here to puff up your ego! :D

as for the daewoo's in the Netherlands, you guys get the "real deal," the Kadett and Astra. the lanos is the exact same chassis as the Kadett E GSi just in a newer skin.

the lanos?

didn't know that

I only knew the nexia ( like mine) is an opel design, and a lot of opel astra/kadett E parts fit as well.

ive also been working my arse off getting uni work done. meant to be a 50 page report on my project (OBD2 monitor/digital dash)... had to call it quits at 39 pages lol.

and... need ideas. got a car show comin up in 3ish weeks (The BHP Show at Lydden Race Circuit, Kent, UK)
....wanna do something special to it that'll make it stand out, got some ideas but would like to know what anyone else thinks..?

and yesterday we re-painted it again... this time with some not-quite-top-of-the-range satin black rattle cans. but it did the job.
