I'll have to check again. My comps down though, do you have a link to the D16CR and D20 gear ratios?

Thanks exist3nce. Guess I was off, or maybe I used a different tire size last time. The top speed is about 2mph difference.

D16cr:
1st=29.25
2nd=48.08
3rd=70.17
4th=113.91
5th=144.62

D20:
1st=36.36
2nd=59.87
3rd=87.56
4th=114.92
5th=146.72

That's all in MPH and with a 215/45/16" tire.

So I guess unless if I get a decent-good offer for my D16cr I'll keep it in. By the time I'd actually need a D20 due to the power limits of the D16 I will probably be wanting an LSD too. That way I could setup the D20, probably change a couple gears even and then just swap them right around. Hmm, the D16 and D20 gears will swap around won't they?

I still think having a close ratio box wouldn't give me anything extra if I was making decent power since I probably couldn't put it all down in the first two gears. Don't allot of people launch in 2nd gear when drag racing too?

I have different shift points than those. Granted, I have OEM wheels, but it shouldn't be too far off.

1. 25 MPH
2. 50 MPH
3. 78 MPH
4. ~115 MPH
5. ??

I know my speedo isn't off...every time I pass one of those stationary radar speed signs it's always dead on.

Hmm, what size tires do you have?

and what's the sports redline? I did this based on a 6500 redline.

It's strange that some are higher while others are lower. Another thing that might effect 1-3mph is that I only plugged in 0.00 instead of 0.000

Redline is 6250. That might make up for the difference.

Ok, then I don't know. I'm damn sure that those are my shift points. I know my speedo is dead-on. GPS confirms it, and articles claim that GPS is more accurate than our speedometers.

I've hit fuel cut enough times in first second and third to know 25, 50, and 78 by heart.
