well the molding is coming along nicely. the only problem i had was today when i made a small batch of fiberglass gel to get the corners and i didn't add enough hardener again. but this time since it was gel i had to spend like 30 minutes to strip the soft parts. but anyways let me know what you think on the progress.
well its been awhile since i posted here but its only b/c my hood looked pretty much the same since last time until now. i finally got it primered and started wetsanding the car.
i took off the vinyl stickers and it looks so bare without it. i was gonna put another set on but the people told me that i shouldn't put vinyl on until after like 30 days after its been painted and the car show is in three weeks. so i just plan on getting a stencil made and paint the emblem on. well enjoy the pics!!!!
the waves you see is jut dry spots in the primer where i ran out of primer in the spray gun.
you see the plan is whenever i catch a bird it'll cook nicely on the engine so if i'm hungry i can pull over and have a nice Okie meal. whenever i put a screen in there it'll almost be like a bar-b-q.
that reminds me of that show, monster nation, where jesse james would go around looking for the wierdest cars people had made... and one dude had a beetle that could cook food on the engine. it was like, 1 hour per pound of meat... i'm sure the taste was horrific, but interesting concept... :lmao
well i'm about to go to class and paint my car. i hope that i don't fuck it up too bad. first time painting a whole car using base coat clear coat. so i'll post pics later tonight.
well here's just a few pics of it still taped off and all. i'll be picking it up tomorrow and take pics while its in the sun and all that hopefully. you can't see the black pearl that well but i hope in the sun it'll show up a lot more.
