the other doesn't run...needs too much work...

I hit the rear passenger side. It crushed the fender in on top of the gas tank and I cant get the gas cap off to get gas It also put a smal dent in the bottom of the door and ripped out the tail light/tore up the top of the bumper.

dam sounds like you need to get the quarter replaced then along with the bumper. almost worse case scenario. that really sux

Ok...I talked to the insurance and even though they totaled it I was able to buy my lanos back for only $300. So, I called my uncle and we beat and banged a bit and pulled out the fender so I can put gas in it...rehung the bumper and now I'm just waiting for a fender/taillight/gas door and It'll be good as new.

if you mean quarter panel when you say fender then you can't just replace it. you have to cut it off along with all the spot welds and then fit the new one and weld it back on. with a lot more lil steps inbetween. and yes pics

I'll get pics asap...what he is going to do is cut the messed up part of the fender out and then tack weld a piece from a good fender in the hole...he's done it before and it looks good and is much easier than removing the entire fender. He said he doesn't want to have to remove all the original welds cause they are still good and all he'll have to weld is the tail light pocket and top of the fender well. I'll go get a pic with my phone now and post what I've fixed so far.

i just got back from looking at a black 01 lanos sport. pics were promissing. lowered, wheels, 5 speed.

i get there, the hatch is rattel canned flat black, it has the older style tail lights in the hatch, the front bumper is all messed up, the drivers door is caved in, cracked windshield, CEL on, missing top of the timing belt cover, the springs were just heated (not actially lowering springs), mismached tires. they wanted $1700 for it, i was gonna offer them $1000, but i didnt. so thats 2 hours of my life ill never get back...... eh maybe next time
