what brand of paint do you use?

well i forgot all about the helicoils until the end of class when it was too late. but i aske my teacher and he said he had the drill in his truck and was just waiting on me. i might be able to get to it tonight depending on if i get really frustrated with this door.

and the paint brand i use is Nason's (dupont) i think the problem was when i shot the primer it layed down pretty good but when i baked it real quick so i could get to sanding it quicker it started to crack. plus i didn't realize until i started mixing the primer that it wasn't primer/sealer. from what someone told me since it was just regular primer and i baked it, it i guess shrank or something. i'm gonna try to salvage the primer tonight but if i can't get it for some reason i'm gonna buy some straight sealer and spray that on there.

i'm guessing those are brands of paint? :roll: since i'm taking a night class i'm not taught little stuff about the trade but i know what i'm doin. i'm still learning as a go. wish i just didn't have to do it on the woo. :cry:

uuummmm....... i'll charge for a whole car. :lol: drive down here and bring it to me= $200 gas, material=about $300 depending on color, my cost for a woo member=$100 so thats still a hella deal for it.

my buddy used to pain cars fora living, so after i eventually do my body work (shave everything, lanos sport bumper, sideskirts,[want] mazda 6 taillights) we are gonna do it all black

so im guessing you dont get that much into repairing frames? right now im learning how to striaghten frames with a universal measuring system and also with a laser system.

we have a frame machine at the school. and i should be using it in a few weeks when i straighten out my friends kia. its not all high tech now with lasers but hell what do you expect from a class that i only pay $240 a class.
