Thats used to build pressure on the brake system before a hard brake. Im not a pro driver but SOMETIMES, i said sometimes, right? i do that when im on the high way and im getting near to a couple (3 or 4) slow cars, that way when you brake, you dont have the "fade" effect when u need them.

does that really work?? and if so then it is supposed to be done before using the brakes rather than accelerating to pass another car... right?

i know i am beeing a PITA but i need to know why things are done

its sounds like what i do when it rains. if i know i need to brake hard i tap on the breaks a few times to evaporate the water between the brakes and rotors then slam on them if i need to.

Which is exactly why the NSX overheated. The driver is continuously pumping it to 7000-8000RPM at all times.
