Head Cover Gasket

Post by matthys »

Hi

To replace the head cover gasket, is it just a case of taking off the cover, replacing the gasket and putting the cover back on again?

thanx!

Make sure you use a tork wrench when tightening the cover...the tork on the bolts is really low and it's easy to strip the bolt holes.

You're right to mention that. It's 89 pound*inch torque!
