If I get it I'll post pics. It's a 1992 Camaro...purple v8 Auto trans...interior looks awesome in pics and the body looks extremely straight but I'll know for sure in the morning.
no go on the car...motor had a knock...they tried to tell me it was the air conditioner compressor...yeah right I know what a motor knocking sounds like.
funny you should mention that. in high school we had a ford tauras donated to us with a "rod knock" it shure knocked, all the students said so, even the teachers did, but when we ran the car with no serpantine belt, there was no knock, it was the ac compressor. go take a second look at the car, take the serp belt off, see if the knock stops. yo might get a good car for cheap, who knows.

They got an offer for 950 for it so It's probably gone unless he backs out...I'm 99% certain it was the motor though...I put my head against the compressor and couldn't hear anything coming from it but if you stuck your head under the car you could here it making a knocking sound. If they don't sell it I may get it for 750 since they're moving next week and don't want to take it with them?
I bought a 91 lincoln continental for 700 bucks...the interior looks like new but the clearcoat is peeling off the paint...i'll fix that this weekend and get some pics. It's not the best but it's cheap and now I can drive it and take the woo apart and work on it.
I'm going to look at another car tomorrow...
