I've used EBC pads for the past few years and have no problems with them. I didn't realize they made rotors as well or else I'd have gotten them as well.Big Jeff wrote:I guess it would depend on how hard you are on the brakesdaewoomofo wrote:iv heard that green stuff pads are very hard on rotars. they are more likely to cause cracking and warping. but i have had no personal experiance with them
Friend went through 2 sets of standard vented disks on one set of pads. They were bedded in fine, both rotors and pads, few harsh stops or hoons around country roads with harsh braking and accelerating and they munched up the disks. He threw them out in the end, absolute torture. Suppose if he got better disks they mighta been an improvement. But yeah, the pads are very hard on disks from what ive seen..

as i have have smoked my OEM (pre upgrade) pads several times and already deformed my hub caps due to heat generated from the braking process... that would be VERY HARSHBig Jeff wrote:I guess it would depend on how hard you are on the brakesdaewoomofo wrote:iv heard that green stuff pads are very hard on rotars. they are more likely to cause cracking and warping. but i have had no personal experiance with them

the OEM rotors are not so good... almost every daewoo owner that have OEM rotors here have warped them already... going on the second set of rotors with used pads is not rightPir0 wrote:Friend went through 2 sets of standard vented disks on one set of pads.
