iv heard that green stuff pads are very hard on rotars. they are more likely to cause cracking and warping. but i have had no personal experiance with them

You would think if they were EBC rotors, they would be able to handle EBC pads... wouldn't you?

HAHA

So what model are those rotors for?

I guess it would depend on how hard you are on the brakes

I've used EBC pads for the past few years and have no problems with them. I didn't realize they made rotors as well or else I'd have gotten them as well.

Friend went through 2 sets of standard vented disks on one set of pads. They were bedded in fine, both rotors and pads, few harsh stops or hoons around country roads with harsh braking and accelerating and they munched up the disks. He threw them out in the end, absolute torture. Suppose if he got better disks they mighta been an improvement. But yeah, the pads are very hard on disks from what ive seen..

as i have have smoked my OEM (pre upgrade) pads several times and already deformed my hub caps due to heat generated from the braking process... that would be VERY HARSH

the OEM rotors are not so good... almost every daewoo owner that have OEM rotors here have warped them already... going on the second set of rotors with used pads is not right

I managed to warp 2 sets of Brembo drilled rotors with EBC green stuff pads (old brake setup on the Gsi).. perhaps they are fine with EBC rotors. Personally, I will not purchase another set of EBC green pads.

Red dot are supposed to be fairly good brakes and not THAT expensive. I wouldnt touch green stuff after seeing what they did.

isn't the red stuff pads supposed to be for racing??... that will make the green stuf the most soft compound they have unless i am mistaken

also anyone got feedback on the rotors?

i already have a friend that is using EBC rotors and red stuff pads on a Renault Megan hatch and so far he is extremely happy

Oh no not red stuff, red dot. Yeah the red and black stuff are more hardcore pads and disks if i recall correctly. But a different brand, Red dot, are pretty good.

as I understood the order went, blacks (OE type), yellows, reds and the greens were the harshest. if I have the time tomorrow I will call EBC to get their input.
