It's about 1000 USD here in the Czech Republic (and the same price is in Poland I guess) - depends on the conditions of course It's much easier to buy c20xe than c20let (turbo engine).budaking440 wrote:aqui en venezuela 1600us$

What about ISUZU?
Quite often Isuzu trucks came with opel iron block engines.
The current Isuzu DMAX uses a stroked 2.4L Iron block.... at one point I got a quote on a 2.4L Crankshaft.... I was thinking about stroking my 2.2L engine out to 2.4L.
I'm pretty sure the Isuzu has used the 2.2L iron block engine for the last 10 to 15 years in various applications.
They did make the iron block engines in Brazil at one point..... very nice engines.... my C20GET is a brazilian block.... with 220,000km it has barely noticeable ridging at the top of the cylinder..... I was very impressed with how well it looked internally.

Most of the Cosworth heads are fairly old at this point.... you may want to consider purchasing a "performance rebuild" cylinder head from Germany or the UK.
There are companies that will upgrade valves to be larger, shave the stems, multiangle valve job, titanium retainers, bronze valve guides, performance cams, solid lifters..... rated up to 10,000 RPM or 12,000 RPM.
I have been looking at these for a while..... there are two German companies.... don't have the link on this computer.... will dig it up for you.... the site is in German.... but it can be translated pretty easy.
Of course they aren't cheap..... if you are just looking for the Cosworth cylinder head other forums like Migweb, Astra MK2 from the UK will have advertisements.
There are a number of people on this forum with friends in the UK who should be able to help you out.
Personally however..... for your location I would suggest Brazil for a C20XE head..... there should be quite a few down there.
The only question is how hard it is for you to get one from there.
Perhaps Efrain may know someone with a Cosworth cylinder head.... not sure how popular they are in DR
