Choco Chips

Has anyone installed the Choco Chip into their Lanos, and what difference does it make to ur engine. I have the 1.5 8v, will it make a difference?

1.6L..... HUGE difference, also a huge difference in terms of gas usage.

Bah. Get a potentiometer and wire it in yourself. This way, you can add or subtract some from the signal to the ECU but it still varies with temperature (important) Choco chip is just two 1/4W 2.2K resistors. I THINK 2.2K....Ill check when i get home. Im in florida now.

i tried a 5000 ohm resistor (thats what the converter said its brown black yellow gold) for a run round the block, the car went great, but im not going to keep it in untill i find out its safe. Is it safe??

Daewoo tech.net usees a 1K. Or actually, two 1/4W's in series, but that is irrelevent if you use a 1/2W resistor. (Still over kill)

Well, I am in no way taking responsibility for you, but I dont think so. If it screws your up, then I am REALLY screwed. I run between 1K and 10K. Just see if you can use an A/F ratio tester, see how rich it is, and if it starts to knock at all, either tone it down with a smaller resistor, or higher octane gas.
