Upgraded the turbo - just machined the exhaust housing bigger to fit a T4 wheel, and Steven from JMS built me a better/newer turbo branch.

The results speak for themselves - 352KW/636NM on the wheels at 2.1bar boost
Image

Could boost higher but the Dicktator only has a 2 bar map sensor. Will have to upgrade to a 3 bar box to go higher

Also my 2 bar boost gauge took some strain when we boosted up to 2.5bar - not reading accurate anymore

Will get a 3bar gauge soon. Racing at Nitro tomorrow - -will post results and vids soon.

No problem with torque steer - on the dyno or on the road. I am running a LSD and with the power steering all goes pretty smooth ;)

My tuner uses trackbite to prevent wheelspin on the dyno when cars make more than 300KW on the wheels ;)

My turbo packed up at the drags and I only managed 1 x decent(first) run for the day - 12.71 seconds on the 400m

Since then I have fitted a BALLBEARING turbo and a bigger dumpvalve to eleminate the turbo flutter. All is good and I cannot wait for races firts Sunday in Ocktober.

Had a run with an Audi R8 today. First run I slipped 2nd gear and the R8 stretched away a couple of car lengths. 2nd run I got the gears right and I had to tapp off in 3rd gear to give the guy a gap. Th R8 thought he had it in the bag, but had a look of surprise/disgust on his face when the Woo popped past him :D :D :D :D :D

Also recorded some "clock runs" at 2 bar boost - started in 4th and then shifted to 5th

Was gonna run against my boets Yamaha R1 again, but he had a nail in his tire and would not race

Getting the Daewoo intake redone tomorrow ( Monday/Tuesday). The old throttle body after 350 000KM has seen better days, and my tuner suggested building an intake "plenum" manifold with 76mm throttle body. Apparently this should increase power by round 30KW??

Any ideas on this???
