Re: need your help. im new with 1997 nubira
Hi welcome,
Are you sure about engine size? Is it not a 1,6DOHC?
How many miles/km on the clock?
Noise can come from so many places that you need to be sure replacing the right parts. To my knowledge most of suspension noise problems are coming from FRONT control arms on Nubira's. Did you got new parts or second hand?
Use good quality engine oil API SH grade or better.
5W-30 in cold area (-30°C-->+30°C) to 15W-40 in hot area (-18°C-->+40°C)
Brake fluid DOT-3 or DOT-4. Don't use DOT-5.
Where are you from?

my Nubira ( as in car paper "license" ) is 1500 cc, I'm from Jordan in the meddle east, i bought it with 113000 KM, and now it is about 265000 KM, i bought the brand new arms , but i always feel that noise.
Re: need your help. im new with 1997 nubira
to correct the date of buying the nubira , i bought it before 1 year and 7 day exactly.

Re: need your help. im new with 1997 nubira
The part you show is the control arm for the FRONT suspension. Not the rear like you wrote in your first message
If the noise you hear is like "clic-clic" when you drive on small bumps than first have a look to conneting rods between shock absorbers and anti-roll bar. You should disconnect at least one end to feel for play in ball joint.and i start find some noise in rear arms
Re: need your help. im new with 1997 nubira
im sorry, i wrote by mistake rear , i'm sure it was a FRONT ARM ( 100% )

nubiras did come with a 1.5 DOHC engines... it is coming to Egypt from somewhere in Europe... as i heard those got a bit different TB's than ours and it causes some problems
front end noise probably from control arm bushings... no idea about Jordan but in Egypt we go get a set of control arms that are made in Spain as the bushing replacments and other types of control arms are just a POS
