can we fit leganza or opel tranmission into lanos 1.6 16v???

Yes.... the Nubira and Leganza manual transmissions as well as most Opel transmissions will fit into the Lanos.

The Opel transmissions require modification due to the fact that most do not have a hydraulicly actuated clutch like the Daewoo's..... they have a mechanical cable instead.

The only Opel tranny found in north america is the F16 from a pontiac lemans/optima

Unfortunatly you would need to get some parts off a D16 Lanos tranny to so there is no real advantage unless you have a blown D16.

The F16/D16 should be fine up to 250hp at the crank but I wouldn't push it too hard at that level of horspower.

It's hard to say what the D20 is capable of..... it's basicly just a beefed up version of the D16.

The awesome F28 Opel transmission is a 6spd AWD so it needs conversion to a FWD (kits are available)..... and it can only be found outside of North America :cry:

The F28 is used on many of the high power 2.0L turbo engines as it is the biggest and strongest of all the transmissions available for this family of engines.
