replaced the AUDM 85 amp alternator with the USDM 105 amp alternator
as well as re-conditioned 200cc design III bosch injectors
was going to replace the TB as well but the pulley needs to be changed over as we got a round pulley but the USDM model has an oval pulley
old vs. new:
alt. bracket (thanks for fixing that up Garrett)
alternator
TB note the huge-ass lip on the one on the right (anyone got a reason why it's like that? I'm thinking partial throttle air smoothing)
injectors
I also repainted my wheels satin black
alt. sitting pretty (I had to use a 5pk890mm belt so it wouldn't rub on the inner guard, I also had to drop the alternator a little to put the belt on; the new bracket really makes that much of a difference!) pic shows test fitting with old 2x3pk895- that didn't work
also note the bracket on the strut tower I had to rip off so I could get the old alternator out; 2.0L lanos' sure are a tight fit!!!
mmm... deliciousness, 190k km worth of gunk
before cleaning obviously
