The aveo motor had been in for a while. All is well. Will update with more pics and info.

wow, that's great. sounds like it was a cheap option and evidently it worked. I dont know how many of the guys that chimed in on the original posts are still around. it sounded like Trey was interested. I don't plan on blowing my motor, but if i do it sounds like this may be an option.

That's awesome! I'd really like to see some of the pics of the project, and hear how you made it all work ... definitely keep us posted! I've never heard of anyone pulling it off here in the US - Good news for us Lanos owners!
