Installing a Lanos Digital clock,
My Lanos never had the digital clock with it. I can buy one for it but i have a few questions.
Do versions of the Lanos without a clock installed HAVE the 6 pin plug present or do i have to wire it up?
What is the wiring diagram?
I know brown w/ white strip is backlight, pink is ignition what else?

I feel cheated! Mine never even had a clock. if it did i am sure it would have broken by now anyways.

Re: Installing a Lanos Digital clock,
Well...you asked for wiring diagram.
Can't help you further except you should looking on your vehicle for this possible connector.

Re: Installing a Lanos Digital clock,
All I need to know is what each color wire goes to. And why are there 6 when all it needs is power, ground and Backlight?Daniel wrote:Well...you asked for wiring diagram.

Re: Installing a Lanos Digital clock,
Looking at you location I expect you drive a LHD Lanos.
So according to diagram the wiring colors are:
pin #2: orange; +12v battery
pin #3: black; ground
pin #5: purple; +12v after contact (ignition1)
pin #6: brown/white; illumination (for dimming purpose, not for backlight)
The remaining pins #1 & #4 are for RHD vehicle. But don't ask me why!
Hope it helps,

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!! I just checked today and feeling up there i didnt feel any plug for the clock. Are these colors, the same throughout the whole car? That way it's just matching wires.
Is the clock held in by snap clips or screws? How bright is the clock actually? does it NEED to be dimmed? I drive will the lights on most of the time.

Re: Installing a Lanos Digital clock,
I'm sure that orange and black wires are "reserved" colours for "+12v batt" & "ground" in Daewoo cars.
Not sure for other colours. You always have to confirm with a voltmeter and/or visual tracking.
Undimmed clock is bright enough to be readable in the sun but maybe too bright at night.
Screws (2) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Daewoo-Lanos- ... 1552087007 .

Re: Installing a Lanos Digital clock,
Well i took the dash apart, I indeed, do not have the harness for the clock.
I noticed the the Hazard switch has all the color wires needed for the clock (Brown, Pink, balck, etc) Can i just tap into the wires for the hazard switch?
Also i put a LED in the dome light, And i noticed the LED will flicker in sync with the hazards blinking. Why is this?

Re: Installing a Lanos Digital clock,
Well I found the harness for the Digital Clock, unfortunately the only wires it has are the 2 white ones. Now, it the white ones are only for RHD Lanos' why does mine have it?

Good idea to use the hazard switch wires. Give a try!LeoTheLion89 wrote:Well i took the dash apart, I indeed, do not have the harness for the clock.

By flicker do you mean intensity variation? If so it is probably due to lack of inertia of the LED unlike filament lamp. Or a poor wiring connection/ground in regard of about 100 Watts of demand of hazard lights.
No idea about the "two white wires"

Re: Installing a Lanos Digital clock,
few questions:
1. What do the 2 white wires do? should i wire those into the clock harness i'll get with the clock?
2.I put some Switchback LEDs in the front of my Lanos. I will be getting a DRL harness to wire up the white side as DRLs heres the wuestion: Right side of the car the light has a blue wire, brown with strip wire and black wire the left side (Driver's side in my case) has brown wire, light blue wire and black wire. Which of these 3 wires are the parking light wires?
3. I'll want a LED compatible Turn signal Relay to stop hyperflash, will ANY 3 pin relay work?
