From the name "Cool-Shot Nitro Kit" this is what I think it does.
If anyone has ever played with a CO2 powered BB Gun, they know if you shot a blank that the compressed CO2 ejecting out of the barrel is cold as all hell, I mean if you shot a blank shot at something point blank, you will actually see ice build up on it.
I think this morons idea is that you wire the feed tube up to your intake and at the driver end of a feed tube you have one of those release levers (originally used for removing jammed bullets out of a gun or filling up a bike tire) when you need the "45 HP" you can release the CO2 and a cold shot into your intake.
All those "tanks" are like 3 inches big.
The theory does hold water, (cold air = good air) if you were injecting compressed O2 into the intake, but a CO2 charge will only hurt performance because it isn't flammable and you wouldn't get a full burn in your cylinder.
If someone wants to make a kit. Go to a sports store, buy some CO2 cartriges for a BB Gun and a bullet dislodger kit. Get some tubing and thats it. Shouldn't cost much more than $20 bucks. But don't do it...too dangerous.
Bottom line.
NO REAL NITROUS, DON'T WASTE THE TIME OR THE MONEY, AND YES GENTLEMEN, ANOTHER EBAY SCAM. DON'T TAKE A CHANCE AND F*CK UP YOUR ENGINE.

not disproving your theorys but...
one day i was going through my grandpas shed helping him clean it up and i found these little red tanks that look just like the Co2 tanks but when i asked him what they were he told me that they were used in a type of welding thing he had... dont know what it was but then he said whatch this.... took a blow tourch and walked out side, set the tourch up so it was heating it up, then we ran like hell to behind his shed and (very loud) BOOOOOMMMMMM. big a$$ fire ball went in the air and when i looked for parts of the tank.. there wasnt any to be found
im not saying the ones on the listing have anything like that in them just that at one time they did have something flamable in them

Basically, any gas compressed into a liquid is flammable. What I'm saying is when the gas is too far dissipated, such that it would when it is released into your intake, it would cease to be flammable.For example: liquid O2 is used to send rockets into space, but normally dissipated O2 gas is harmless.
What you probablly had in the little red tanks is acetylene if it was used for welding, which is volatile as hell as I'm sure you know, also, the torch probably added to the fireball effect.
Anything heated in pressurized containers will go kablooey.
In liquid form it is flammable, in gas form it is benign.
