can anyone tell me how to change the shifter knob on the automatic transmission??
The chrome piece unscrewes but the shifter know doesnt come off.
My car is an automatic but I would'n change for nothing.

If it's anything like the lanos' just put it in first gear (car off) and pull up the ebrake... parking brake.... hand brake, whatever you call it.
Then there should be some screws on the "Front" part... 3 in all ... 2 to remove the handle and 1 to remove the button ... don't remove the tiny one, that spring/button can be a bitch.
