From the factory?
I'd say silver, you can't beat it, it doesn't look like the muted neutral colors like beige, maroon, and forest green that were designed to appeal to a wider consumer base. Unfortunately, I got the green one from the factory. Another option is the red Lanos Sport color, however, I'm not a fan of red.
Aftermarket?
Blue, sometimes called electric blue, it makes the Lanos really stand out. That would be the color I would paint my car.

Like that blue? Cause that's prettymuch the color I would try to paint mine. That's even the lanos I would say it's the most beautiful I've ever seen.BosnianLanos wrote:From the factory?

i like the red very much specially on a hatchback
also the silver looks cool...also on a hatc and with the clear tail lights (OZ style)
my car is maroon... the lanos II/sport have a different grade of maroon than the old one, the new color a bit lighter and doesn't look that good.
as for paint codes... here is a list.

moin,
a normal engine runs in a range of temperature. if it to hot, the water runs through the water-cooled radiator. i can?t believe, that the lanos has problem with the temperature. i don?t believe that this modification has a effect for the performance, but it is funny...
this is my personal view
