Its quite thick and holds the heat out well, I also put a folded piece of folded cloth between the two pieces of aluminium to help stop the heat transfer.
Still havent had the chance to take my wheel fender out, had a quick glance and it appears that it is on the right hand side.. Work is what lays between me and messing with the car
