The manual for my 2005 Forenza says to inspect the fuel filter every 24,000 miles and repalce it at 90,000 miles. It also says that it is integral with the fuel pump. The factory service manual shows how to remove the fuel pump from the tank through a cover under the back seat, but makes no mention of where the fuel filter is.
Anybody have any ideas of how to inspect and/or replace the fuel filter without just scrapping the whole pump?
