it looks cool Acing... nice job.
i personally prefer painting the parts at the front of the headlights and leave the other chrome bits as they are but thats just me.
i am going to do the same project but i will paint mine black as my car is dark maroon and blacks matches fine.
i am going to try a thin knife and open the headlights in a similar way as FaWEeToO did... i am afraid of using the oven for that job.

Thanks for all the comments, and no, none of the dimming was noticed at all. In fact, since I replaced my bulbs, I have noticed them to be much brighter and there's no dimming what-so-ever.BosnianLanos wrote:I noticed you painted the interior chrome reflector part of the headlight as opposed to just the outside chrome on other cars. Did you notice any dimming of the headlights.
Nice work though, not really my cup of tea, but you pulled it off quite nice.
I did that on purpose, because I think it gives the headlight that 3D look as opposed to just painting the exterior parts (which is almost like putting an eye lid over the headlight).

the car seems too red now...but it looks ok.
on another point, i think you need bigger wheels, they look rather small with the car slammed so much.
still a nice woo tho.
