Cheap 14" or 15" aftermarket wheels.

i think their is no way to prevent it (other than not using the brakes) but some brakes pads produce less dust than others... my SANGSIN pads produce much less dust than the OEM pads.

as for cleaning: their are many cleaning products for those things... i don't really know any as i have the OEM wheels and they are already blac, i just clean the wheel covers and i am done.

Thanks!! That's the reason I want to get black or gunmetal wheels... this kind of stuff doesn't show as much as it would on white or silver wheels.

ok... my mom just bought a new mercedes c240.... it has alloy wheels with a satin coating on them (looks kinda like a clear coat). anyway, all you do is use a sponge or even your hose to clean them...

i talked to the dealer guy and he said they do it for 120 (all 4 wheels) for any non painted (as in polished or alloy finish) wheel.

how pimp daddy is that?

how pimp daddy is me keeping the $120 and only spending about $20 at the most on cleaning products. and use some elbow grease? thats my opinion. if your mom wants her "wheels" (this ones for you OZ

) cleaned i'd do them for $50 and save her some money if i lived near you.

my dads ML320 has the easy to clean wheels. The good thing about the roughtly cast wheels on my leganza is that you can clean them up with a wire brush and you cant tell that they have been scratched

if you waxed your wheels would the dust stay off or make it easier to come off?

also... that cleaner with teflon makes things easier to cleana s well
