Initial-D live action movie mania starts

I went to see the red carpet event last week. Saw the celebrities strut in one by one then watched the movie.

Story-wise, it is a little different from the anime/manga. The the thing to watch is the race scenes. Apparently the camera angles on the action is pretty well done and somehow, the overhead like a bird following view is good. It is explained in following "Making of Initial-D" video links below. Nevermind if they are speaking Mandarin, just watch. They hired professional drift racers and the shooting locale is in Japan itself.

Just watch the movie if it comes over to your area for the racing action.

didn't like the movie making vids but the drifting vids are great... driving is the utmost fun you can have with your pants on indeed. :twisted:
