Hi,
tonight my transmision broke...
i was preparing to race and i launch it at 2500 rpms, and kaboom, i still feel my hand shaking a bit, cos i always grab the knob.
i dont know what it broke exactly but it has a gear in, so if a let the clutch it turns off, the stick is moving strangely, and all the transmision oil was on the floor.
I was pulled to my home by a friend.
Tomorrow im calling Danny *my daewoo mechanic* to see if he was a spare box laying around... if he has it maybe tomorrow we will swap it... i think the differential broke.

Hi,
we took the transmision down,
The first thing we did is try to put it in neutral trought the selector, no problem there,
We lift the car, i notice that the box has separate it self from the base mount of the back engine mount.
we took it down... the box is broken in 4 pieces where the bolts on the base for the engine mount hold on to the box.
I could see the differential and the speedsensor, all seems ok inside there, i did turn the differential with 1 finger so all seems to be ok inside.
I just need a new box to put all the parts there, i've to check with my daewoo mechanic to see if he has one.

Hi,
tonight i came from a friends home, and just gave the car a WOT fun... and notice that this new box has shorter ratio :O !!!
with the old box i reached 180 kms at 7000 rpms in 3rd gear....
now im getting 150 at 7000 in 3rd!!!
no wonder i noticed the car was feeling a bit quicker!
