dear fellas,

can somebody tell me what's wrong w/ my daewoo racer gte 95 mdl,
once i've started my engine it will not idle, it will start up & eventually
the engine will die. :? :idea:

have you checked the throttle cable? when was the last time you did a tune up on the car? is there a cel (check engine light) coming on at all? and other symptoms?

With this amount of information that you've given to us, look out! Every possible thing that can cause an engine to fail will be suggested as a possible cause.

That said, check the simple things first. Are your spark plug wires on correctly? When last did you change your spark plugs? When last did you change your fuel filter? Is your air filter blocked? Another possibilty is the throttle body. These cars do have a tendency to pump a lot of oil into the intake from the breather hose and I've seen very similar things happen when the throttle body gets oily. Remove the rubber hose at the intake manifold and look. If you see oil and gunk remove the throttle body (u can just remove the four bolts and the electric harnesses, but leave the throttle/kick-down cables intact) and spray it clean with injector or carb cleaner. Boys...take it away, the floor's open!

guys,

i figured it out, i discovered that there are grounded wiring with a help
from a friend emmidiate adjustment were made.

thanks a lot fellas :D
