What about a Talon? Thats what he had before and he loved it.. he had 27 pounds of boost on AWD... i wouldnt be surprised if he just bought a RWD one cuz he does alot of drifting

i didn't know they made a talon 6spd or a rear wheel talon... who knows..

now that i think about it...

Talons do not come in RWD

There are 3000GT VR-6s? I only heard of VR-4 and those were all AWD.

I'm a sucker for small displacement 4 cyl turbo engines..... so I'd pick an SR20DET as my engine of choice.... you can keep the 6 cylinders I'll stick to my four banger!!

I know there are Jetta VR-6, but never heard of Mitsubishi having some kind of a vr-6 model.

Anyways, Dan, you still haven't found the answer? I still think it's a 350Z or a Supra.

If I HAD to choose I'd go for the RB26DETT...come on now...this thing is amazing. Over 1000hp with just a chip?? However my vote for the best engine ever created lies with the Toyota 4AGE.

Very unlikely that anybody would run a supercharger at such high levels, so I'd be thinking at least one turbo.

Galants were VR-V6s...those were never sold in the US but came in 1.8L and 2.0L V6s elsewhere.

My guess is probably a boosted 5.7L Chevrolet Camaro or a Pontiac Firebird. They are dirt cheap (you say he's 19), they have rear drive, came with 6 speeds, and are known to be able to accept crazy mods and though it's kinda hard to boost (engine-bay space), there is a tail-end turbo kit for them. How's that?

Tango whats the compression on the Camaro because if it's only change is pistons wouldn't it still likely have a higher compression and have trouble running that much boost..

what size turbo too... ?

Dont know the size of turbo.

But im sure its a smaller displacment car.. he loves his old talon like no other... and 4cyl cars. probably

Can a 240sx handle all that? with the stock engine

depending... it could be a "Stock" engine.

The 240Sx came with 2 different engines... the KA and the SR20DET

theres probably SR's close to 1k in hp.

i know they're built but i'm not doubting it could be a redtop or black top SR20DET engine. I just know it's much easier to get that number from an RB or VQ Engine..

but if it's a Definite 4 it really doesn't have a chance to be anything than a 240sx.

Perhaps he put some work into the SR20DET or just replaced it with one of the Red or Black tops.
