Hey there all,

I just wanted to introduce myself... I've spent a long time looking for a group for my love for my daewoo... I never thought i'd find one... then i found you guys...

I live in the phoenix, AZ area and own a 1999 Nubira CDX Hatchback... All i have to say about my car is i love it...

Anyway... If there's anyone else in the Phoenix area, or anyone else who may want to talk to me, PM me.

I've only ever seen 1 Nubi hatch in person and they're really nice! You're lucky to have it. Do you have pics of it that you can share with us?

At the moment i have pics of it after i rearended someone in it... minimal damage, but i'd have to get them off a friend... since the accident, i replaced the hood and bumper, and now need to paint the car (it's white and green... kinda odd looking) I myself, have only seen two (mine as well as another green one that is now in a junk yard) I've heard claims that there is yet another one in south phoenix, owned by a kid that my parents used to see often...

I'll get some pictures later today though (they're in my friends comp).

As my first car, i love it... only beef i have with it... is it's not manual, and the gas milage right now is terrible (can't figure out why, after replacing several peices and seafoaming the engine)... I'm thinking of replacing the engine as a whole, as well as the transmission... =) My friend wants to put a 2.2L Prelude engine/tranny in it... but i kinda want to keep the stock daewoo engine/tranny, that way i can keep it semistock rather than a honda engine in a daewoo shell...

Like i said, i'll try and get some pictures later today... =)

unfortunately GRRR my friend hasn't hooked me up with the pics we took from his cam... and he hasn't been online lately to send them, so we have to wait =/
