Finally Moved in

Post by PrecisionBoost »

:D I've finally got my home computer up and running again.

We moved into Sherwood Park.... a suburb of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Lots more space and finally a GARAGE !!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

My wife thinks she's going to park in there over the winter but I have other plans

I've been posting from work since my home computer has been sitting in the basement of my in-laws house for the last few months.

Boy am I glad to have my system up and running.... I forgot how fast these AMD 64 chips are :D

Running about 2.7 Megabits per second on my new cable modem ( since the other one didn't work at my new location )

We are renovating at the moment.... the house was built in 1970 and it was the original owner so we are replacing carpet, appliances, fixing up the kitchen, painting and hopefully replacing all the bathroom stuff.

The place has original 1970's stuff everywhere.... from gold/black velvet wallpaper to purple and blue bathroom toilets, sinks and bathtubs to real authentic blue shag carpet in the bedroom.

We just lifted the primary livingroom carpet..... yuuuuuuuuuk.... mega stains and gross spots everywhere.

Oh well..... atleast it will be a nice place when we are done.

I'm going to build an "engine shed" here at my house so I can work on projects.... my shop is great but we are allready low on space so my project stuff kept getting in the way.

Nice! I live in a condo with my parents... I can't wait till they buy a house with a garage!! Here condo association would not let me work on anything. That's why I want our own place soo bad with a garage. But congrats!!
