can someone help
i just got a turbo from a friend he said it was off a saab but forgot what year (junk yard pickup) i need to make the exhaust mani and the exhaust pipe but i dont know what kind of turbo it has a sqaure inlet with four holes and the exit is round with three bolts. I know it has an internal gate but that is pretty much it oh and there is no shaft play at all and all fins are in mint condition

well i thaught it might be a t3 but was uncertain were can i get info on routing the oil lines and all the other good stuff i have some pics i with my phone not the best but you can tell what it is i just dont know how to upload them

It's a member of the T25 family. Either a T25 or newer GT17.
Check the part #'s and serial #'s on the tag that's attached to the centre cartridge. Most turbo places can then identify it properly.

GT17 will spool up quick on the small engine and will be easier to fit than a bigger turbo.
Four holes? Its likely that two are used for a flow of coolant - the turbo might be water cooled. Normally you'll have an oil feed at the top and a drain on the bottom. Then the two on the side are for a run of coolant.
Go to a wrecker and see if you can pick up fittings - trust me its going to be way cheaper than getting them custom made, and being a pretty common saab turbo there should be plenty of parts available.

yeah i saw the two for oil cause i have the fittings still attached for those but i was uncertain as to the other two and i agree the turbo is pretty smull wich is why i want to do something with it i dont want a dramatic change but a noticable one and then maybe later ill upgrade to make more power
