it's a carbon/graphite piston

they are ringless, oil-less pistons that last around 50,000 miles and are stonger than forged steel for their weight.. but cost about 22,000 for 4 pistons...

upside is, engine rotating mass is significantly decreased... meaning you can rev way higher, way faster... jus because you can

no, you can still knock... odds are revving above 10,000 would require smaller valves or a higher octane gasoline.
