Installed them... definitly brighter and more white than my old sylvanian (sp) silver stars... but there not blue at all like they're supposed to be. But at least they are that like.. fresh white color you see on some high end cars.
After i upgrade the wires it will light up the road almost as well as my moms bmw w/ xenon lights and projectors

they arent diffrent sockets the reason for changing them is to use a higher duty socket as to not to run the risk of the harnest over heating and melting and posably shorting.Daew0Leganza wrote:but the socket sizes different? pep boy sells the wires... damn if the sockets the same then should have upgrades the wires then put better bulbs on...kinkyllama wrote:bump. yes they can. you need to grind down the inside of the socket and a little bit off the top tab and the 9005 will fit in the 9006 base same things with the HIR counter parts.Daew0Leganza wrote:which bulb type u use? r the sockets the same? the 9005 bulbs wouldnt fit on the 9006 socketskinkyllama wrote:Installed them... definitly brighter and more white than my old sylvanian (sp) silver stars... but there not blue at all like they're supposed to be.
