It looked like it wasn't moving. It must've been like a 1.5l version with an auto and was probably stock.

actually the one racing up front was a 1.4l lanos. the one in the back was a 1.5l or 1.6l. at least that what the site said on the side of the screen.

i think that engine is 1350cc so it is said to be a 1.3 sometimes and 1.4 some other times

hold on guys... this is just insane...

the FIAT is actually a FIAT 124 2 cyl. 800cc RWD car... i can beat that if i was in a wheel chair.

their should be something wrong with the launch technique of the lanos driver 'cause the FIAT's engine can never be that fast... even against a 1350cc Lanos still thats one weak engine, i think it pumps out 35 HP or so.

OK the FIAT is RWD and probably weights nothing but still this can't be... we are talking 100% pure logic here.. anyways this vid is posted by nefary who is a daewootech member so i appreciate if he gave us more feedback on the conditions where this drag held.

maybe the first lanos was towing he one behind and only then this vid. would make since.

Wow, what a joke...

I think I can run faster than that.

I don't think that these guys knew what they were doing because from the launch I would be at least one carlength ahead.

That just makes me feel bad...

I don't think wheelspin would be that much of a factor.

That Lanos seems to be moving very slow...

I mean, my Lanos can beat a Passat 1.8L Turbo off the line, and even when the turbo spools up, it can't shake me for more than half a carlength.

I guess if it was a 1.3L in a Sedan it might be that slow.

The Fiat would definitely have better HP/WEIGHT ratio.

first of all it looks like a whole lot of driver error .... also that fiat had his RPM's at the right set when he took off ... last of all I think the fiat had a roll cage in it ?? possible sleeper?
