HELP NEEDED

Post by l_BlakBear_l »

ok so i posted b4 that i need a new engine on my car. i checked out that lkg place. they wanna sell me a 59k mile engine for 650. another 120 for shipping. problem im having is mechanics to put it in. the guy who was gonna do it became a jerk when i questioned how many miles the engine he found came with, and why do i need to know. he orignally was charging 1100. then he raised it to 1300 after. so thats out the window. if im paying that money i should beable to ask any questions i want. but now i need help. i need to know of more vendors who would carry engines. i wasnt looking to spend more then 800-900 in putting in new/used engine. hell ebay got the car selling for 1000. so i dunno if i should junk it.. fix it. or what.. i need guidence. and if you have ideas of around how much i should be paying for it. it doesnt seem liek putting a n ew engine would be difficult for this car. thanks.. im not even sure what im asking anymore. but yea, more places for where i can buy the engine and prices if possible

Well, for starters, here is a really good looking deal on the motor:

If above link doesnt work for some reason, look for item 8025869098

To replace motor, a mechanic shop with proper equipment should spend about 6-8 hrs. With 2 people, I removed my motor with the gearbox in 3 hours.
