Cross drilled and Slotted rotors - good deal or not?

I know about getting rotors for Nissan cars but I don't know if this really is a good deal or not. EBAY now usually is a ripoff, but I just wanted to ask people here forst. I imagine that posters here have upgraded their rotors and brakes and also added steel brake lines.

Yeah I got them, big difference. no fade at all.
Only problem is that they rust. Would have been nice if they were treated to some cadmium first.

Here's a pic of the install:

Nice, its always good to have the steel lines too. What about carbon pads? You said they stop great so I don't think you would NEED something so major as a BREMBO setup. After all, the Lanos is a pretty small car anyway.

As for Nissan, I never suggested getting Nissan parts for a Lanos. I lived in Japan and I am still mainly a Nissan guy so I know where to go and what to get for my Skyline when I had it. However, so many things have changed since 2002 concerning Daewoo in the US that I don't have a handle on things.

I got the EBC Green Stuff pads. The Lanos has two different size brake pads, check it out with your VIN number first. Unfortunately I have the ones that were more expensive.
