Is there any other daewoo/opel/vauxhall or anything else that has bigger/better brakes that will be a direct swap onto my car? Anything?

cool!Audacityracing wrote:worked well... but his brackets had to be made like 3 or 4 times cause it's such a precise thing to get right. i have a brake rotor catalog that you can compare by lug sixing and hat height and all that... lemme look
Yeah.. I dont think I wanna get anything custom made.. it'd be such a hassel to even find someone that'll do it. But then again I guess I dont have much of a choice.. Will anyone even do such a thing since its such a liability risk?

Suzuki Verona is a Daewoo Magnus/Eagle, or Chevrolet Epica in other parts of the world, so yes, it is a Daewoo. I believe it runs the same 5 Lug hub as the Leganza, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't have bigger brakes, it only has 155 HP, which is like 15 more than the Leganza, and its only marginally heavier, and I don't think it warrants a brake upgrade. But someone should check up on it

So any Saab Rootor and Caliper will work assuming both parts are made for each other? But if they are direct fit then why need to to redrill the bolt pattern? I am just asking because I know Saab makes good cars and powerfull brakes.chris@PrecisionBoost wrote:Saab Rotors and Calipers are a direct fitment.... but you have to redrill the bolt pattern at a machine shop.

What measurments would I need to be sure if a brake rotor fits?

I stand corrected. If the lug pattern is the same, the rotors will fit. The only issue then will be the caliper bracket. If the Verona's rotors are only marginally larger or even the same as the Forenza's, then it is clearly not worth it. Just get a big rotor upgrade from a 4x114.3 car and make new brackets. It shouldn't be too bad.
