Is any engine the same for a 2000 Daewoo Leganza?

Post by Jesse18873 »

I need to find a Engine for a 2000 Daewoo Leganza. Myengine threw a rod bearing and now the damage parts are going to be close to $1,200. And the labor to do it is going to be $800. So it would be better to find a Engine. I found one and it has 40,000 miles on it and they want $1300 for it. My mechanic would charge me $200 to put it in. Is there anything that i need to know before buying an engine like is it worth it, what do i have too look out for, and what should come included with the engine. Your feedback is important.

Theres no way you should pay that much for an engine.
I found one at a local scrapper for 500 bucks + 300 to put it in. and this is in canadian buxors.
Uf u gotta spend 1300 for an engine, seriously, look around for a newer leganza and use the otherone for spares..
