Dunno if this has been posted before. Here goes:
On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a ... >all ? Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur.
No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit.
The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way streets.
Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver, and the film went underground until a DVD release a few years ago

WOW sounds like hardcore material... i like that, film is still streaming... haven't seen it yet but the first impression is great.

I liked that vid, and i liked Getaway in stockholm 2 as well... I liked the second one better though... It's with a Toyota Supra and a Ford Escort Cosworth they rip through stockholm... it's amazing how fast they get sometimes....

Yeah there are more than 2, theres actually at least 6, i specifically like the second one the best... although the 6th one is nice i like it as well (has a Dodge Viper GTS and a Porsche 911 GT3) i haven't seen 3-5 i'm itching to see them though...Joso wrote:You can find all 4 or 5 GIS videos with emule.
