Audacityracing wrote:actually, you print the white gauges on photo paper and then the white lights up, leaving the dark numbers. if you can find it, i reccommend putting some "prism paper" behind it (like the material an overhead projector is made from) to diffuse the light better. here is a pic of what they look like (sorta)...

Decided to do up a custom MPH version. I left the KPH off of it to keep it looking a little less cluttered, but added numbers for 10, 30, 50, 70, 90, and 110. I also did some red-zone re-design.

If someone likes these or wants it changed a bit, I'd be happy to accomodate. :)

Here is a smaller sample of it.

Click here for the full size version.

I might actually give these a shot. :)

Variation Gauges-non tach-colored

Post by lanowoo »

using johnny c mph variation type, i decided to spruce it up just in case someone wanted more than one color, i think i did ok since it was my first time editing something, do not tell me that it looks girly, not bc i am one either, it would go wonderful if you had one or more of the same colors on your dash, or put a color-changing tach in your non-tach lanos. here it isImage

Hmmm... How would we do that? And where exactly are they?

Can someone scan the reverse side of the gauges?

I did pick up some supplies for working on some reverse glows. :)

I thought about that today but didn't find any glow in the dark paper. I don't want to go the blacklight method though hehe. :) What kind did you get and where did you find that?

Hey... can you give me a measurement (exact as you can) in mm for the total width and height at the widest part?

I want to make sure I have the DPI and such perfect.

I could always replace the gasoline symbol for a dollar sign hahah

so while you drive you can slowly watch your money trickle away.

No... that's far too sad.
