Hi For a Suzuki Forenza 2.0L what parts would I have to buy to make my car a turbo,
Besides the Manifold and Turbo itself?

Thank you good peoples.

Depends on how much boost you wanna run?bsharon wrote:Thank you! IS that all lol
Also.. if you dont know what you need then maybe you shouldnt be doing it yet. Read a couple books on the subject or just look it up on howstuffworks.com

why do you need a new mani.?? can't you use a setup like what Tim did on the 1.5 SOHC lanos? it makes the modifications needed very little and that reduces the project's cost... refer to the how to section to see Tim's car.
BTW that is the same setup idea that was done on Zikas' 2.0 Nubira.

Well I know pretty much what I needed, I just wanted to be sure.
I have an idea of what turbo exhaust manifold I wanna get.
I know I need a new head gasket to get lower compression.
I was thinking about doign what I saw and getting an SRT-4 fuel pump and using that.
intercooler and piping and all the other stuff is no big deal.
The only thing I am really wondering now is where I can get a nice set of "turbo injectors"
and what has to be done with the Computer? If anything?
and
MMamdouh talking about books or how too's.
Come on I can figure it out when the time comes. j/k
I know I have some things I have to read 1st.
But I have an idea and I wanna go through with it.

we currently got no pics for the car with the turbo on it but the point of mentioning that particular car was to show that it is possible to use the OEM exhaust mani. for a turbo setup... you just make and adaptor flange between the OEM mani. and the turbo.
doing that will save you the cost of custom making a turbo header or buying a turbo header for another car and mod. it to fit yours... also will save you the hussle of relocating your cooling fans or even the need of a slim radiator.
Tim is running that setup and it is by far the most clean turbo setup you can find.

Fuel pressusre regulator is not needed when bigger injectors...pavlozky wrote:Intercooler, Piping, Fule Pressure regulator, Fule pump, Wastegate, Blown Off Valve, Turbo fuel Injectors, Turbo oil link conduit, Spark Plugs, Thiker Spark Plug Wires, Boost gage, Boost Controler, bigger exhaust pipe.........
You have to get some piggy-back or make chip remap

That setup lasted me 12 months without a problem.
Looks like the thing that killed my engine was irregular piston ring wear (from boost maybe?).
It did have 130000kms though and normally those 1.5 engines start to wear out at 100 000kms in this country - so i was pleased with the results. Especially since everything else looked mint when the engine torn apart.
If you can stretch your budget i think a standalone fuel and timing computer will help HEAPS on these engines...

Using the stock manifold for a turbo set up in a T20/T22 wont have space problems ?
Because as I had seeing the turbo will not fit beacuse of the power steering pump and the radiators fan
Or it is that the flange adapter must sit the turbo lower the to the right ?

well... the flange didn't shift the turbo to the right... just a little to the bottom, he turbo is clear from the PWS pump and radiator fans.
i think i have to get some pics for the setup...
