ok so since I no longer have the lanos and now have the nubi I am going to try to mod the lanos cai that I got from shaun to work in the nubi except I have 1 question. the split to the left, do i need it and what is it for?
and also the ribbed intake has a weird tube that goes down right underneath where the AIT sensor is and doesn't go anywhere its just a sealed tube that is about 8 or so inches long, I just find it kind of strange because I think that might really inhibit the airflow.
I know not many people out there have nubis, so chris tom anyone please help.
sorry for the large pictures.
so with that split to the left can I just block it off or can I remove that entire funny looking thing on the top and just run right into the stock throttle body?

is there also and intake resonator in the wheel well behind the splash gaurd?
I did an sri setup for the mean time just attached the short peice of piping that I had directly to the intake tube that went to
the stock airbox, it is working quite well actually. I just need to figure out what the diamater is of those resonator outputs or
just get the diamater of the 90 degree intake to the throttle body and just make it from pvc.

the big thingy is a resonator indeed... not sure about the short pipe though.
anyways we removed all those extra bits (resonator and useless tube) on Zikas' nubira when installing the K&N filter on the 2.0 engine.
